Neelkanth Sarovar Premiere

A rapidly developing city, Lusaka has some fine examples of façade lighting – and now the hotel Neelkanth Sarovar Premiere stands proud and tall, making for an interesting day and night time visual-scape. The success of the project is most evident perhaps in the true translation of its façade lighting from concept renders to final execution at site. And for anyone who has seen the lighting rendering has infact then seen the building in a sense and vice versa. With limited budgets, a lot of design engineering went into achieving what was planned and technical lighting design snowballed into procurement exercise to manufacturing support to installation engineering and of course, final commissioning. The lobby area of the hotel is lit with small square downlighting modules less than 2 inches by 2 inches in size. In clusters of three, they exist quietly in the troughs, hidden from direct view but showing off only a high quality of general lighting. Other elements including integrated lighting in counters, steps, display areas, wall features contribute to significantly enhance the experience of the indoors and seemingly transport you into any international hotel lobby
