breaking up the glass box…

It is well understood that glass buildings barely lend themselves to façade lighting. For this premier mall though, we broke up the boxiness of the glass façade into random lines that get mirrored into myriad reflections, blurring the boundaries between what is physical and what is an imitation! The night-time identity for GulshanOne29, is a visually engaging composition of horizontal lines, some planned and others incidental. It is one of the many approaches while dealing with a glass façade and seeking to create an iconic, memorable, lit identity. Integrated into the jointing details of the glazing, the LED accents break up the geometric form of the building. The strategic in­tegration of warm and cool lighting elements accentuates the building’s texture and depth, while the illuminated edges define its architectural contours with elegance. The rhythmic arrangement of horizontal lighting fixtures adds a sense of movement and dynamism, making the facade visually captivating from various perspectives. Addition­ally, the contrast between the illuminated sections and dark surfaces creates a dramatic effect, reinforcing the building’s modern and luxurious appeal. The use of energy-effi­cient LED technology ensures sustainability while maintaining a vibrant, sophisticated ambiance. Overall, the facade lighting of Gulshan One29  transforms the architecture by day, into an iconic nighttime landmark, reinforcing its presence in the urban landscape.
